Crop Claims Adjuster

Description: • Investigates and maintains claims • Reviews and evaluates coverage and/or liability • Secures and analyzes necessary information in the investigation of claims • Works toward the resolution of claims files • May attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions or trials as necessary • May affect settlements/reserves within prescribed limits and submit recommendations to supervisor • Conveys simple to moderately complex information to all appropriate parties • Ensures that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner • Ensures that claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a related discipline • 6 months to 3 years of related experience • Continuous and prolonged walking and standing • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of objects up to 50 lbs. • Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling and crawling • Requires overhead reaching and grabbing • Regular and predictable attendance • Ability to conduct visual inspections • Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions • Frequent travel • May require the ability to operate a motor vehicle Benefits: • Competitive Total Rewards package • Medical, dental, and vision plans starting on day one • PTO • Paid holidays • Commuter benefits • Employee stock purchase plan • Education reimbursement • Paid parental leave/adoption assistance • 401(k) plan with company match Apply Job!
