Claims Adjuster - Attorney Represented Injury

About the position As a Claims Adjuster specializing in attorney-represented bodily injury claims, you will manage a portfolio of claims, working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle cases. This mid-level position requires a strong understanding of liability, coverage, and damages, as well as the ability to assess claims effectively. The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both in-office collaboration and remote work, with a focus on professional growth and support from a collaborative team. Responsibilities • Determine coverage and liability for claims. , • Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys. , • Settle claims and establish reserves. , • Estimate costs of treatment or compensation for injured parties. , • Analyze and interpret medical reports and manage the claims process for efficient resolution. , • Interview and collect information from claimants, agents, attorneys, and police. Requirements • Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling, OR , • One year in claims handling and a bachelor's degree, OR , • Three years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling and an associate degree.
