We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Nursing Home Claims Adjuster. The ideal candidate will have a background in claims, with specific expertise in Nursing Homes or Senior Living, and previous experience working with a TPA or brokerage/agency with a focus on nursing homes or senior living. 100% Remote, offering a flexible and collaborative work environment. Job Responsibilities: Claims Management: • Execute tasks related to the adjustment of nursing home claims, ensuring a thorough and efficient process. • Manage nursing home claims with precision and expertise. • Participate in meditation and settlement negotiations. Effective Communication: • Engage in clear and proactive communication with policyholders, third-party investigators, defense firms, and internal claims team members. • Mitigate claim damages through collaborative and strategic communication. Client Support: • Proactively support policyholders with open claims, providing clear and empathetic assistance. • Foster a positive client experience by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. • Collaborate seamlessly with the claims team to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow. Qualifications: • 1-3 years of proven expertise in Nursing Home/Senior Living claims adjusting. • Proficiency in handling nursing home/senior living claims. • Understanding of Medicare Section 111 Reporting • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to nursing home/senior living claims. • Ability to thrive in an independent, remote work environment. • Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events, showcasing commitment to continuous professional development.
