About the position The Hospice Community Liaison Officer at Legacy Now Hospice is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources to enhance the hospice patient census. This role involves creating and implementing targeted marketing strategies to connect with hospice patients in need of services, ensuring they receive high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. Responsibilities • Develop and sustain relationships with referral sources. , • Build a consistent referral pipeline to increase hospice patient census. , • Create and implement a targeted marketing plan focused on hospice patients. , • Meet with hospitals and families to introduce and facilitate admissions into hospice services. , • Ensure patients receive the highest standard of care. Requirements • Active RN License in Texas (preferred but not necessary). , • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance. , • Minimum of two years in hospice nursing care for adults. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs. , • Demonstrated success in a hospice healthcare marketing role. Nice-to-haves • Experience in hospice care or family support, either professionally or through volunteering. , • Nursing experience is a plus. , • Ability to develop and execute sales, marketing, and public relations strategies.
