Responsibilities: • Handle high volume of inbound and outbound calls in effort to negotiate re-payment plans on past-due and charged-off accounts. • Maintain a thorough understanding of State and Federal laws and regulations related to Debt Collection compliance (FDCPA and CFPB). • Input information in Collection Software to track conversations with Consumer. • Great Communication and negotiation skills • Maturity, honesty, integrity and a strong sense of ethics. • Analyze each consumer’s unique situation, create and negotiate repayment of past due obligations consistent with guidelines and requirements • Engage in timely follow up and maintain open lines of communication • Research and update consumer contact information • Document work accurately and timely • Follow all company policies and procedures, be on time and participate in all team meetings, activities, etc. while pursuing these duties • Work schedule 40 hours weekly • Ability to work some late nights and Saturdays Requirements: · High School Diploma or Equivalent · Must be able to pass background check · At least 1 year Collections Experience •
