Remote Accounting Manager
Accounting Manager needed at established CAS practice. This role offers a nice balance of client interaction, hands-on accounting and review, operations, and team leadership. Job Type: Must have CPA firm experience Full time, Permanent, 1099 Location: REMOTE within the US Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 (DOE) Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Management 5 years of relevant work experience with multiple clients in public accounting firms 2 years of relevant work experience as a Controller or CFO; strong consulting skills Experience working in Xero Accounting Software; Excel is a must. Tech forward; ability to learn new applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills CPA desirable, but not required US Tax background nice to have Responsibilities: Review and oversee accounting work to ensure timely and quality delivery of engagements, including all monthly work and financial reports Manage all outsourced finance operations for efficiency and profitability Manage accounting department budgets, realization, and deadlines Leverage and incorporate technology to create more efficient processes and enhance staff productivity Utilize project management tools daily to monitor project status Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope, and work plan with the client Conduct weekly team meetings Attend weekly management meetings Schedule client meetings, agenda and manage report due dates with assistance from the Client Success Coordinator Act as client manager, collaborate with other client service teams to deliver all services outlined in the firms proposal approved by the client Mentor, supervise, and train accounting staff; appraise the performance of team members Plan, assign, and direct work Benefits: Fully remote position Opportunity to grow your career in a modern, progressive CAS practice Flexible working hours Unlimited PTO 968369 Apply Job!
