Job Posting: Part-Time Remote Special Education Teacher (Early Childhood) - Harrisonburg, VA Company: Soliant Education Position: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Dates: ASAP - June 5, 2024 Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week Pay Range: $35 - $39 per hour Job Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Remote Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a contract position in Harrisonburg, VA. This role will involve direct consultation with students and case management for an early childhood caseload of roughly 12 students. We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible and is available through June 5, 2024. Key Responsibilities: • Provide specialized instruction and consultation to early childhood students with disabilities. • Manage the caseload, ensuring all services are delivered effectively and in compliance with IEPs. • Conduct virtual meetings and provide support to students, families, and staff. • Collaborate with parents, school teams, and other professionals to ensure student success. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and IEP documentation in the Virginia IEP system. Requirements: • Current Special Education (SPED) license (General SPED license is acceptable). • VA Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) license is highly preferred. • Previous experience with virtual teaching or consultation is a must. • Familiarity with Virginia IEP system is necessary. • Experience with early childhood special education, particularly with students in preschool or early elementary settings. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage case loads remotely.
