Louisiana Special Education Teacher Virtual Position
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher (K-12) to join a fully remote team. This role requires the teacher to create and implement personalized educational plans that cater to the specific needs of students. The teacher will work virtually with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure students reach their academic goals. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized educational programs for students. Provide regular progress assessments and make necessary curriculum adjustments. Maintain communication with parents/caregivers and provide updates on student progress. Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning process. Requirements: Must have a bachelors degree or higher. A valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate is required. 2 years of experience in a school environment. Must have all required clearances to work in public or charter schools. Early childhood experience preferred. 37.5 hours per week. 2024/2025 school year contract.
