Provide strategic direction and oversight to the DevOps team for effective cloud infrastructure management. • Team Leadership & Management: Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers. Provide guidance and support for career development, while ensuring efficient delivery of projects and initiatives. Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across the team, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Automation & Tools Development: Spearhead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of tools and frameworks to support the automation, deployment, and management of our platforms. Oversee the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, ensuring scalable and maintainable environments. • Security & Compliance: Establish, implement, and enforce data security and privacy policies to protect critical data. Ensure the team's work adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standards, including proactive vulnerability management and system hardening. • Performance Optimization: Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to scalability, performance, and system availability. Ensure continuous monitoring and performance tuning of cloud environments and automated pipelines. • Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and DevOps practices. Lead the evaluation of new tools, technologies, and vendor products, recommending enhancements to improve existing infrastructure and processes. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure cloud solutions align with the organization s IT strategy. Provide expert guidance on DevOps-related challenges, including software builds, deployment pipelines, and application performance. • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in architecture, infrastructure, and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps practices. Implement best practices for operational excellence and support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). Qualifications: • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, or software engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity. • Proven experience managing a DevOps team, with strong mentoring and team-building skills. • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates. • Expertise in Azure and AWS services, including virtual networking, PaaS, and IaaS, with advanced knowledge of cloud-native architectures. • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, as well as experience with web technologies such as JSON, HTML, JavaScript, and YAML. • Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus) and modern feature branching strategies.
