Job Duties and Responsibilities of Delivery Truck Operator: • Employ a UPS delivery van for the purpose of conveying packages to an assortment of locations, including households and offices. • The role necessitates the strength and capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds. • Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service by providing exceptional service during deliveries. • Comply with the expectations set by the Department of Transportation, including successfully completing the DOT physical examination. • To meet UPS's appearance expectations, it's mandatory to wear the uniform that the company has issued. • This role expects an individual to dedicate 8 to 10 hours a day, with the actual working days changing to meet the needs of the organization, either from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. Qualifications and Experience of Delivery Truck Operator: • An authentic driver's license is obligatory, but depending on the state, various variations are accessible, while a commercial driver's license is not mandatory. • Skill to manage objects that weigh up to 70 lbs. • Unbeatable driving proficiency and exceptional service to customers. • Legal permanent residents, also known as green card holders, have the same right to work in the U.S. as citizens but may face limitations in certain jobs that require security clearance. • Dedicated to following UPS' regulations for uniform and personal presentation.
