Mid Stack Software Engineer

We’re trusted by industry leaders like Bayer and Numan though we’re not stopping here. ??Where you will make a difference: You will join a product squad, building out new features that add real customer value as well as maintaining the current platform. With the small team size you will be given lots of autonomy and the chance to make a real impact. We don't expect you to know everything, but a drive to learn, take ownership and learn from your mistakes is key. ?? Our Tech Stack: • We believe in the right tool for the job but we are moving towards a full Typescript stack deployed via CI/CD to AWS. • React.js on the front end. • Node on the backend (moving away from PHP monolithic to more event driven microservice architecture) with some Python sprinkled on for the more data science parts. • On the database side Postgres/MySql, DocumentDB and DynamoDb. ?? What we need from you: • 3+ years experience coding • Experience moving fast with Agile. • Ability to build software with high security and quality. • Have good knowledge of JavaScript and specific frameworks for full-stack (Node.js or React) • Knowledge of Typescript. • Be proficient with containerisation (Docker) and serverless • How, why and when to test correctly • Know how to profile, troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software. • Experience working with and building public/internal APIs. • Have the ability to work in a changing environment. • Have the ability to create rapid prototypes and understand how these differ from production level code. • Good knowledge of at least one database (SQL, NoSql, etc.) • Have the ability to communicate with all level stakeholders. ??
