Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to create detailed project plans that delineate scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure effective cloud migration. Engage with business executives, technical teams, and vendors to synchronize project objectives, gather necessary requirements, and enhance collaboration during the migration process. Proactively identify potential risks and devise effective mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition with minimal interruptions. Utilize your comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to determine optimal solutions for application migration. Lead cross-functional teams, including developers and quality assurance specialists, inspiring team members and fostering a cooperative work environment. Monitor project progress, assess performance against established metrics, and implement corrective measures as required to stay on track. Ensure that all migrated applications comply with quality standards and adhere to security protocols and data privacy regulations. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status updates, and post-migration evaluations for future reference and knowledge sharing. Provide expert guidance and recommendations based on your experience to elevate project outcomes. Employ Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques for effective project management by calculating variances and monitoring performance indicators within established tolerances. Required Skills Project Management Certification (PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner) demonstrating a solid grounding in project management methodologies. In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), along with familiarity with cloud migration methodologies and best practices. Proven experience as a project manager, particularly in overseeing cloud application migration projects, with demonstrated success in leading teams and engaging diverse stakeholders. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, analyze dependencies, and propose innovative solutions throughout the migration process. Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage resources to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Agile Project Management proficiency, including methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, for managing intricate migration projects with iterative approaches. Qualifications A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, emphasizing Agile methodologies and conducting assessments in complex IT settings. Familiarity with Agile tools and their application across various IT projects. Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights and recommendations. Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate with executive and senior leadership.
