Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, reconciling invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing:

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure that all invoices are logged, reviewed, and paid promptly. -

Payment Management:

Prepare and issue payment requests for approved invoices. Manage disbursement schedules to maintain positive vendor relationships and ensure compliance with payment terms. -

Reconciliation:

Assist in the reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner by conducting research and communicating with vendors and internal teams. -

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to accounts payable transactions. Organize and file electronic records for easy retrieval and audit purposes. -

Collaboration:

Work closely with team members across departments to support various accounting functions. Communicate effectively to gather necessary information and facilitate smooth operations. -

Continuous Improvement:

Participate in efforts to enhance accounts payable processes and systems. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve efficiency and accuracy within the department. -

Compliance:

Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations concerning financial transactions and records. Stay informed about updates in accounting practices and IRS regulations. ###

Requirements:

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Pursuit of a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory. -

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial databases is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. -
