Job Description:

As a Part-Time Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness, your primary responsibility will be to create a positive, inclusive environment for clients of all fitness levels. You will be required to design and implement personalized training programs to help our clients achieve their fitness goals while promoting a culture of health and wellness within our fitness facility.

Requirements:

– A passion for fitness and health.

– Excellent communication and customer service skills.

– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

– An outgoing and friendly personality with a strong ability to motivate others.

– Current CPR/AED certification.

– Fitness industry certification from a nationally recognized and accredited program is a plus.

Responsibilities:

– Help clients meet fitness objectives by coaching and encouraging them during every gym session.

– Design and implement personalized exercise programs for clients.

– Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all gym members.

– Promote and sell personal training programs and services.

– Attend all staff meetings and continue education presentations as required.

Educational Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent required.

– Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

– Previous personal training experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide extensive training for selected candidates.
