Responsibilities Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence Filing and e-filing documents for state and federal courts Assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court filings, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and hearings Drafting basic discovery responses Managing calendars and deadlines Conducting research and fact-finding Assisting with other tasks as needed What We're Looking For 4+ years of solid experience as a litigation legal assistant, with insurance defense experience preferred Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) A strong understanding of litigation procedures and the discovery process Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and helpful attitude Must be a Florida resident Why Join Us?
