Warehouse Team Member

Job Summary: Sysco is seeking to join our team immediately. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. No previous warehouse experience is required, and you can earn up to $70k per year, including base pay, overtime, and incentives... Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts to pick and palletize customer orders accurately and efficiently. • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. • Organize and palletize products based on order specifications and delivery requirements. • Work in areas with temperature and humidity variations, including cooler and freezer environments. • Lift and handle products weighing between 1lb and 100lbs, following proper lifting techniques. • Perform bending, twisting, and reaching motions while operating equipment and retrieving products. Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum 0-1 years of work experience required; must be at least 18 years old. • Preferred 6+ months of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience. • Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous but not required. • Ability to work on feet for 10 – 12 hours daily and in extreme temperature conditions.
