Contracted School Paraprofessional

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for a full-time position within school districts in the Westfield, IN area. We are conducting interviews now for this immediate opportunity. Key Responsibilities... • Assist teachers in the classroom by providing additional support to students. • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who require extra help. • Support students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations. • Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive, productive learning environment. • Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization. • Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as lunch, recess, and field trips. Requirements: • Must meet all local and state requirements for paraprofessionals, including: • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or higher, or at least two years of post-secondary education, is preferred. • May be required to completed the ParaPro Assessment. • Must pass a background check as required by the school district. • Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred.
