We are looking for a dedicated Online Educator to provide specialized virtual instruction for twice-exceptional learners. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs, creating a supportive and enriching online learning... environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Specialized Instruction: Provide engaging and challenging online lessons tailored to the needs of gifted students with learning differences. Develop Virtual IEPs: Create and implement individualized education plans that address the specific needs of twice-exceptional learners. Design Curriculum: Develop dynamic digital curriculum materials that stimulate and challenge advanced learners. Conduct Assessments: Perform online evaluations to identify giftedness and learning disabilities, ensuring accurate and supportive assessments. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with families and educational staff to enhance support for advanced learners with special needs. Facilitate Enrichment: Organize and lead virtual enrichment activities and projects that inspire and engage students. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in online education for twice-exceptional students.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on gifted education. Licensing: Valid teaching license with endorsements in gifted and special education. Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with twice-exceptional students. Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced online learning platforms and tools. Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Instructional Ability: Expertise in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
