Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Director

? *Job Description ... We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Chain Operations Director to oversee operations at key contract manufacturing partners within the Sleep & Respiratory Care (S&RC) devices supply chain. In this role, you will be accountable for all aspects of operational performance, driving excellence and continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities ?

Operational Oversight:

Manage operations with key S&RC supply chain partners, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and sustainability. ?

Stakeholder Liaison:

Serve as the primary operational contact with S&RC procurement, central commodity teams, and key Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners. ?

Operational Excellence:

Lead operational excellence and capability development activities within your assigned scope. ?

Planning and Alignment:

Collaborate with the Integrated Planning team to improve the monthly medium/long-term planning process, driving end-to-end alignment and facilitating joint decision-making regarding capital, inventory investment, and resourcing. ?

Business Reviews:

Facilitate quarterly business reviews and operating plan alignment, including productivity, volume, resource planning, capacity investment, inventory, and cost planning. ?

Inventory Management:

Oversee the inventory management process for finished goods and components at key CM partners, optimizing inventory levels to minimize excess and obsolete inventory, improve cash flow, and reduce expedite costs and purchase price variance (PPV). ?

Data Flow Management:

Establish and maintain key financial and operational data flows between stakeholders, including periodic auditing. ?

Quality Performance:

Partner with supplier quality to drive CM partner quality performance, ensuring timely and effective execution of corrective action requests, nonconformances, change notifications, and change requests. ?

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor supplier delivery and operational performance, leading corrective action efforts in conjunction with CM counterparts to address gaps. ?

Communication:

Manage communication of key disruptions, recovery plans, and supply implications with S&RC leadership, in partnership with Integrated Planning. ?

Industrial Transfer Activity:

Oversee key industrial transfer activities, including sourcing programs at tier-1 and lower-tier supply chain partners to ensure alignment with operational plans. ?

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with finance, procurement, and engineering to underpin annual productivity targets, align funnel activity at CM partners, and manage plan changes and deviations. ?

CM Partner Representation:

Act as the primary voice of CM partners in S&RC Integrated Supply Chain forums. You're The Right Fit If You Have ? A customer-first attitude. ? A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a closely related field. ? 10 years of experience in operations management, end-to-end planning, inventory management, sourcing, supply chain financials, and/or supply chain modeling. ? Proven ability to lead conversations that influence and drive optimized decisions with multiple executive stakeholders. ? Experience handling supplier relationships within a manufacturing/production environment, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. ? Proven experience with contract manufacturing relationship management and 3rd party operations in the medical device industry. ? Strong analytical skills to assess, frame, and drive data-driven decisions. ? Strong knowledge of ERP and operational data tools/systems, with SAP experience preferred. ? Ability to effectively manage multi-party negotiations. ? Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve results by identifying and aligning to shared goals, priorities, and commitments. ?
