You will play a pivotal role in managing a caseload of students, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting student growth in the online classroom environment. Reporting to the Campus Director, you will collaborate with a team to ensure the effective implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and promote a supportive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Engage and oversee a caseload of students in the online classroom environment. Provide instructional support and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum resources. Analyze student data regularly to inform instructional decisions and interventions. Foster ongoing communication with students, parents, and colleagues. Modify materials and implement structured teaching strategies as needed. Participate in professional development workshops and coaching sessions. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students. Collect, analyze, and report student data to track progress and inform decision-making. Celebrate student achievements and successes regularly. Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Director. Desired Qualifications Experience managing and teaching students with disabilities in a classroom setting. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities. Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies preferred.
Requirements
Valid Special Education Teaching Certification. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field. Physical Requirements This position may require stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and other physical movements typical of a classroom environment. Light Work: Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in an indoor classroom environment.
