Concierge (Medical Data Entry) - Evening / Overnight

The Concierge is a pharmacy support position that assists the pharmacists with the mediation procurement process for our various hospice partners across the United States via data entry of patient and prescription information into an online system. This includes coordination of refills and verification of inventory at our partnering pharmacies. Responsibilities... Assists clinicians in the medication procurement process. Completes verification process for quality patient care via data review and data entry. Assists in second check of peer’s work to ensure accuracy. Navigates between various software systems for communication and completion of assignments. Communicates both directly and indirectly within the organization and with hospice partners via chat, email, phone calls, and patient profile documentation. Maintains a high level of productivity while balancing quality of care. Answers the phone, responds to routine questions, and outreaches to a pharmacist as needed. Accurately includes necessary information when assisting clinicians for the procurement of hospice patient medication requirements. Calls in patient prescription refills to designated dispensing pharmacies. Outreaches to pharmacy partners to complete stock checks, ensuring medications are available for patient care. Works cooperatively with fellow Concierge team members and others on various teams throughout the organization. Assists in training new team members as assigned. Adheres to all HIPAA protocols for patient privacy. Performs other duties as assigned to support the achievement of Delta Care Rx’s goals and objectives. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma Attention to detail and excellent listening skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills Ability to multitask and prioritize efforts A basic understanding of medical terminology Preferred: Prior experience in healthcare Prior experience in a Pharmacy related setting or prescription order entry Experience with various web browsers (Google Chrome / Firefox), Google docs, Google Sheets Working Conditions: This is a sedentary position in which all work is completed sitting at a desk in an office setting or working from home. Stand up desks are available upon request. Work is completed utilizing a laptop with 2 additional computer screens, along with headset for telephone communications Apply Job!
