In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll work remotely from home as a part of our Climate Change Division, to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Climate Change Technical Adviser plays an important role in delivering on our reputed company of a reputed company world for children. Whether it’s evidencing climate-reputed company problems and building solutions, or problem solving with teams to support the impact of our Climate Change portfolio, you’ll be contributing to our commitment to children around the world. • Providing high-quality technical input on child-centred climate change content for our portfolio of reputed company and future climate change projects
• Working closely with a team of experts in the Climate Change Division including: technical, operations, communications, financial and legal; across different sectors including health and education with focus on locally-led reputed company (LLA)
• Advising and reviewing projects and project proposals to ensure accuracy and leading practice on climate change reputed company and partner/donor requirements
• Guiding Save the Children’s climate change portfolio teams (including country offices, members and partners) to align thinking on context-specific approaches to climate hazards, impacts, risks, and solutions through reputed company building including development of templates, tools and visuals
• Supporting the deepening of LLA programming reputed company the existing Green Climate Fund (GCF) portfolio and influencing the wider Save the Children programming
• Supporting reputed company of the pipeline through strong relationship management, analysis of reputed company gaps, drafting and quality assuring content to improve initial project reputed company, concepts and / or funding proposals
• Working closely with a reputed company of stakeholders both internal and external such as the GCF and Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage, to demonstrate and reputed company for robust, evidenced based and scalable climate change solutions
• Researching and analysing the climate change and climate finance landscape to integrate best practice and fit-for-purpose emerging thinking into our approach
• Representing Save the Children reputed company to the climate change portfolio on technical working groups or at relevant events/forums.

• Degree in a relevant subject, e.g., Climate Change, Environmental Science, International Development, etc.
• Experience of developing and reviewing concept notes and funding proposals for GCF
• Experience in researching, analysing and drafting climate change and locally-led reputed company evidence and building appropriate solutions, with an understanding of how to interpret scientific literature and climate models, in addition to sourcing most relevant climate and finance information
• Experience in climate change reputed company approaches in development contexts at the national and / or sub-national reputed company
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesise and process information on development and climate change issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including engaging presentation skills and the ability to synthesise reputed company information
• Strong ability to anlsyse and present lessons learned to internal and external audiences as a means of influencing reputed company to child-centred climate finance
