[Remote] Employee Relations Consultant

The Employee Relations Consultant will work independently to support and guide managers on various employee relations issues, providing coaching, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and provide support to management on employee relations issues, including but not limited to: conducting investigations and disciplinary actions (including involuntary terminations). Will also support our legal partners and assist in their work to respond to EEOC charges
• Provide coaching and conflict resolution to management and employees
• Track trends and makes recommendations for improvement to HR or department management
• Serve as a subject matter expert on employment laws and regulations
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding and serves as a subject matter expert on Federal, State, and Municipal employment law and regulations to ensure compliance and to mitigate risk to the organization
• In coordination with the Sr.HR Business Partner and HR senior Leadership, create and interpret company policies and procedures
• Provide input and recommendations regarding reputed company HR policies and procedures to HR senior Leadership and HR functional areas
• Reinforce initiatives reputed company respective client group as defined by the Sr.HR Business Partner or business unit management
• May work with Sr.HR Business Partner and HR Director to support reputed company-wide employee engagement initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in reputed company field or equivalent experience
• Five (+) years of relevant work experience
• Subject matter expert on reputed company employment laws and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
• HR Generalist experience in a service reputed company industry
• PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
