Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Cyber Network Engineer with technical knowledge and program management experience, to provide technical expertise and support to our military clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Virtual Machines, Cyber Network Engineering, and Linux. As a Cyber Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing current solutions, maintaining existing solutions and providing innovative and cutting-edge solutions for future unforeseen challenges. What you will do

  • Understanding of program management process, procedures, and regulations; with ability to work on a team with Program Manager and Technical Lead
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients (military leaders, personnel, and other stakeholders/Program Management Office), to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and operational concepts in cyber and network architecture
  • Understanding of IPSEC, Virtual Machines, Ubuntu Linux, VMware ESXI administration, and BackUp RAID array configurations (ie. RAID 1 vs. RAID 0)
  • Understanding of remote desktop configuration, WSUS configuration, VPN tunneling, routers, and switches
  • Additional duties as assigned or required

What we are looking for

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
  • Cyber Systems/Network Engineering experience
  • Basic understanding of IPSEC, Virtual Machines, Ubuntu Linux, VMware ESXI administration, BackUp RAID array configurations, Remote Desktop configuration, WSUS configuration, VPN tunneling, routers, and switches
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI

Bonus points for...

  • 14+ years of Systems/Network Engineering experience with Masters in related field
  • Business Development experience
  • AI/ML application development and testing, employment and usage of AI tools such as sentiment analysis
  • Proven experience as a Technical Engineer (cyber network), with strong understanding of program management
  • Familiarity with military cyber security protocols
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Security Plus (DOD 8570.01) Certification
  • Established experience with DoD Authority to Operate packages, and procedures and AO decision making roles
  • Established experience with DoD Security Control Traceability Matrix Documentation
  • Prior experience with VPN Tunneling Hardware and Software
