About the Role

As a Remote Technical Support and Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for our clients' customers, providing outstanding service and technical assistance via inbound and outbound calls, as well as through digital channels. Your mission will be to resolve routine and moderately complex issues, answer questions about client products and services, and ensure that every customer interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Provide inbound customer support using established call flow guides, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, smartphones, tablets, computers, wearables, and other client products and services.
  • Information Management: Accurately track, document, and retrieve customer information using proprietary databases and CRM tools.
  • Problem Resolution: Apply strong analytical skills and ask probing questions to identify root causes and deliver effective solutions on the first contact whenever possible.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a broad understanding of client offerings, including familiarity with iOS, MacOS, and comparable platforms, to provide informed recommendations.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services that enhance the customer experience.
  • Customer Delight: Deliver expert-level customer experiences with a positive attitude, patience, and a smile — even when working remotely.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple, clear terms.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple systems, applications, and databases; strong PC knowledge and computer navigation skills are essential.
  • Multi-tasking Ability: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Home Office Setup: A quiet, distraction-free workspace at home; a desktop or laptop capable of running required software; high-speed internet (no wireless hotspots or satellite connections); and a smartphone.
  • Availability: Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs.
  • Residency: Must reside in the United States with a valid U.S. address.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous technical support or help desk experience.
  • Familiarity with iOS, MacOS, Android, Windows, or comparable operating systems.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or remote support tools.
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual capabilities (Spanish, French, or other languages are a plus).
  • Military experience or veteran status.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. As such, you will need a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions. You will regularly operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, headset, and other standard office equipment.
