Role Overview

The Customer Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests. You will be the friendly voice and helpful hand that embodies arenaflex’s dedication to outstanding service. This role blends front‑line guest interaction with operational support, offering a unique opportunity to develop a broad skill set while contributing directly to the overall campus experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Interaction: Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to internal and external customers, addressing inquiries, offering solutions, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, prioritize, and resolve service‑related problems; conduct research, propose options, and coordinate with relevant departments such as Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Conduct.
  • Communication & Follow‑Up: Maintain regular contact with customers to update them on the status of their requests, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.
  • Team Coordination: Train, schedule, and assign tasks to student workers or temporary staff; monitor workloads and ensure timely completion of duties.
  • Operational Support: Perform daily inspections of vehicle gates, conduct preventive maintenance, and execute minor repairs as needed.
  • Financial Duties: Collect income from pay stations and parking meters, generate audit reports, and address discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for major repairs, signage installation, and other contracted services.
  • Facility Upkeep: Install and maintain signage, paint and remove graffiti, and ensure kiosk water and supply levels are adequate.
  • Event Assistance: Provide logistical support for special events, including barricade setup, cone placement, and on‑site coordination.
  • Campus Coverage: Offer daily coverage for the arenaflex Village, assist with mobile duties, and support opening/closing procedures for campus facilities.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors, adapting to evolving needs of the transportation division.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast‑paced customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
  • Valid California driver’s license; participation in the DMV Pull Notice System is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in a high‑volume service setting.

  • Proficiency with technology tools and campus information systems.
