About arenaflex

arenaflex is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to connecting talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities. As a trusted partner to industry-leading clients, arenaflex specializes in delivering exceptional workforce solutions that empower both businesses and individuals to thrive. We are currently seeking driven, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Benefits Enrollment Customer Service Specialists. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced, high-volume call environments and are passionate about helping people understand and navigate the complexities of benefits and insurance programs.

If you are someone who takes pride in providing clear, accurate, and empathetic service—and you’re looking for a stable, fully remote opportunity with a competitive hourly wage and long-term growth potential—arenaflex wants to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Benefits Enrollment Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees and dependents calling in to learn about and enroll in their benefits programs. You will handle a high volume of inbound calls daily, providing guidance on open enrollment, health insurance plans, retirement contributions, and other complex benefits-related topics. Your ability to interpret, explain, and apply detailed policy information will directly impact the customer experience and the overall success of the enrollment process.

This is a 100% remote opportunity after a brief, in-person training period, giving you the best of both worlds: comprehensive onboarding followed by the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle High-Volume Inbound Calls: Receive and respond to 30–40 inbound calls per day from a structured queue, providing accurate and timely assistance to employees seeking benefits and enrollment information.
  • Explain Complex Benefits Programs: Clearly interpret and communicate more complex aspects of company insurance and benefits programs, including plan coverage, eligibility requirements, and enrollment procedures, to employees and their dependents.
  • Process Enrollment Data: Accurately record employee enrollment elections, update records, and ensure all data is entered into the system with a high degree of precision.
  • Analyze and Assess Information: Examine and consolidate data from multiple sources to provide insightful information about benefits programs, group insurance utilization, and program effectiveness.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Pinpoint needs for modifications or changes in program design and administrative procedures, and communicate these observations to leadership.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented experience on every interaction, whether via phone, email, or chat.
  • Maintain Compliance and Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion and in full compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Utilize Technology Effectively: Navigate multiple systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Word, while simultaneously engaging with customers on the phone.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role where you helped answer questions, resolve issues, and provide guidance to customers is required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Computer Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple applications and using basic Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word) while on a live call with a customer.
  • Reliability and Attendance: A strong track record of dependability and consistent attendance is critical, as this role requires full-time commitment during assigned business hours.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think critically, assess customer needs, and deliver accurate solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in benefits administration, HR support, insurance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with open enrollment processes and benefits platforms.
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound call queues.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
