Velocity Black is looking for a Senior Director to join our team as Head of Marketing. In this role, the Senior Director will lead Velocity Black’s marketing globally. The role will involve defining the marketing strategy, leading a talented team, managing and deploying a substantial budget, and will be responsible for core marketing metrics that contribute to Velocity Black’s growth. Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of critical marketing metrics that contribute directly to Velocity Black’s growth, including member acquisition.
  • Define Velocity Black’s overall ultra luxury marketing strategy, getting approval and endorsement from the business’s senior leaders.
  • Successfully plan, manage, and deploy the department’s annual budget.
  • Lead a dynamic team of creative contributors, ensuring output is aligned with both luxury brand values and the strategic growth of Velocity Black.
  • Manage the relationship with Velocity Black’s agency of record and work with other agencies as required to execute upon the planned initiatives.
  • Work with carefully selected talent who are closely aligned to the brand’s values and objectives and who can raise the overall profile of Velocity Black membership, and ensure high impact content creation and distribution.
  • Oversee the production of a library of brand enhancing content assets and a multichannel plan to deploy them so as to maximise the value they generate.
  • Deliver a series of luxury world class events that truly deliver upon the Velocity Black lifestyle and pique the interest of our target demographic – ultra high net worth audiences.
  • Lead our overall social media strategy, ensuring greater visibility to, and interest from, prospective Velocity Black members and the wider world.
  • Refine and perfect lower funnel marketing, including advertising, website and landing pages, that maximise return on investment and ensure a strong stream of highly qualified membership applicants.
  • Facilitate briefings with cross-functional teams including Media, Social, and Influencers and guide alignment of initiatives against the core strategy.
  • Partner tightly with executives ensuring info-share, strategic alignment and creative execution consistencies.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity/white space and adaptable to change, with the desire to define the future.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 3 years managing a $1-20mm marketing budget
  • At least 6 years of experience leading digital marketing strategies
  • At least 6 years of experience facilitating briefings with cross-functional teams including Legal, Risk, Content Writers, etc. to execute on marketing initiatives
  • At least 3 years of experience strategically managing budgets and tracking ROI (return on investment) data to present to executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in leading digital marketing strategies
  • 3+ years of experience marketing an ultra premium financial product (for example: Chase Sapphire Card, VentureX, AMEX Platinum)
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing ultra luxury experiences or products on a global scale
  • 3+ years of experience working within a marketing agency or partnering with other marketing agencies
  • 3+ years of experience developing holistic marketing strategies
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic partnerships or re
