Key Responsibilities
Strategically identify and source premium quality meats, vegetables, and other essential supplies to ensure our products meet the highest standards. Cultivate robust partnerships with suppliers, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance our pet food offerings. Negotiate advantageous contracts that balance quality with cost-effectiveness. Manage the entire purchasing process, from order placement to delivery tracking. Collaborate closely with our production, quality assurance, and finance teams to streamline operations. Analyze market data to uncover trends and identify opportunities for cost-saving and operational improvements. Support business expansion by scouting new suppliers and monitoring industry developments. Required Skills Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, preferably in the food sector. Exceptional negotiation capabilities to secure the most favorable terms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams. Attention to detail coupled with adept problem-solving abilities. Qualifications
