Position Overview – Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

The Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex plays a critical role in converting image‑based documents into accurate, structured data within our proprietary QuickClaim system. This position demands unwavering attention to detail, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to maintain high productivity while adhering to strict quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately input data from a continuous stream of scanned images into the QuickClaim platform.
  • Identify and classify document types based on provided guidelines and visual cues.
  • Review entered information to ensure it meets or exceeds established quality thresholds.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate professionally with teammates, supervisors, and cross‑functional staff to resolve ambiguities.
  • Suggest process enhancements and workflow optimizations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Complete all assigned tasks for the day, ensuring no backlog remains.
  • Perform additional office duties as directed, supporting overall team objectives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Self‑Motivation & Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently, stay on task, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
  • Multitasking Capability: Comfortable handling multiple document streams while maintaining precision.
  • Detail Orientation: Proven track record of delivering error‑free work in fast‑paced environments.
  • Typing Proficiency: Minimum 50 WPM with 95 % accuracy and 4,500 KPH with 95 % accuracy on standardized typing tests.
  • Confidentiality Commitment: Experience handling PHI or other sensitive data, adhering to HIPAA or equivalent privacy standards.
  • English Fluency: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and effectively.
  • Quick Learning: Capacity to grasp new instructions, software tools, and workflow changes rapidly.
