Position Overview
arenaflex is currently hiring a Remote Freight Processing Specialist – Data Entry & Logistics Support to join our growing operations team. This role is ideal for self-motivated professionals who enjoy working independently, take pride in accuracy, and want to build a long-term career in logistics and information processing.
This is primarily a work-from-home position, with one important requirement: candidates must live in or near Broome County, New York, as you’ll need to visit the arenaflex facility for equipment pickup and HR orientation at the start of your employment. Once orientation and training are complete, you’ll transition to a fully remote setup with all necessary equipment provided by arenaflex.
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime opportunities available during peak periods — always in alignment with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Freight Processing Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring that client freight and logistics data is captured, processed, and maintained with the highest level of accuracy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Accurate Data Entry: Entering freight-related information, shipping details, and account data into client systems with a high degree of precision and consistency.
- Bill of Lading Research: Locating, reviewing, and processing Bills of Lading and related shipping documents to support accurate recordkeeping and timely client deliverables.
- Account Processing: Processing accounts and associated documentation in accordance with client requirements and arenaflex quality standards.
- Quality and Productivity Standards: Working consistently to meet or exceed established rate and quality benchmarks that reflect customer expectations.
- Training Support: Assisting in onboarding and training new team members as you grow into the role — a great opportunity to develop leadership skills.
- Open to Feedback: Receiving constructive performance feedback with a positive, growth-oriented mindset and applying it to ongoing improvement.
- Cross-Training: Willingness to be cross-trained in additional departments and functions to support daily production commitments across the business.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:
- Residency: Must reside in or near Broome County, New York for equipment pickup and orientation.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Internet Connection: Reliable, high-speed internet service is required for remote work.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain focus and accuracy when processing high volumes of data.
- Background Check & Drug Screen: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Independent Work Style: Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
