Engineer - Identity Solutions

Description DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is looking for an Engineer with expertise in Identity and Access Management (AIM) solutions. This individual will be responsible for delivering identity-focused projects, assessments, and operational improvements while supporting senior engineers and architects on larger engagements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a passion for learning, and a customer-first mindset. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to implement, support, and optimize identity solutions that improve security, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Identity Solutions Delivery Implement and support identity and access management solutions for customer environments. Independently deliver smaller projects, assessments, health checks, and remediation engagements. Support medium and large projects under the guidance of Senior Engineers and Architects. Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, and project meetings. Demonstrate Expertise Microsoft Entra ID Active Directory Hybrid Identity Entra Connect Sync and Cloud Sync Okta Workforce Identity Single Sign-On (SSO) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Conditional Access Identity Governance Lifecycle Management Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Identity Security Best Practices Zero Trust Principles Assessments and Health Checks Conduct identity assessments and health checks. Document findings and recommendations. Assist with remediation planning and implementation activities. Implementation and Support Configure and deploy identity solutions. Perform migrations, upgrades, and tenant integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Support testing, validation, and knowledge transfer activities. Documentation Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and customer deliverables. Ensure project activities and outcomes are accurately documented. Professional Development Pursue ongoing training and certification opportunities. Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the practice. Requirements 2+ years of experience in the IT industry with experience supporting identity and access management technologies. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments. Exposure to Okta or other enterprise identity platforms preferred. Experience implementing or supporting MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and identity-related technologies. Experience with PowerShell or other automation technologies preferred. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment. Demonstrated customer service and consultative skills.
