Key Responsibilities

  • Data Transfer: Convert paper‑based information gathered during events into digital records using a laptop, mouse, and designated data‑entry software.
  • Handwriting Interpretation: Accurately read and input handwritten notes, signatures, and forms while maintaining a high level of precision.
  • Verification & Quality Control: Cross‑check entered data against original source documents to ensure completeness and correctness.
  • Record Maintenance: Update existing entries, correct errors, and keep the database current with the latest information.
  • File Organization: Systematically file and archive physical paperwork after entry to prevent loss or misplacement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with arenaflex’s internal data‑management team, providing status updates and flagging any inconsistencies.
  • Ad‑hoc Support: Assist with additional tasks such as preparing summary reports, labeling files, or supporting event logistics when needed.

Schedule & Location

This is a temporary, part‑time position based at our headquarters in Palmetto, FL. The schedule is designed to accommodate a variety of availability patterns:

  • Fridays – one day per month.
  • Saturdays – two to three days per month, with exact dates determined by event calendars.
  • Shift times are flexible and will be communicated in advance, with the possibility of adjustments based on operational needs.

All work is performed on‑site; remote work is not part of this role.

Essential Qualifications

  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using standard office equipment (laptop, mouse, scanner).
  • Typing speed of 40–45 words per minute with an accuracy rate of 80–90% or higher.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to data handling.
  • Fundamental understanding of database concepts (e.g., records, fields, and tables).
  • Strong command of written and spoken English, enabling clear communication and accurate data entry.
  • Customer‑service orientation, reflecting arenaflex’s commitment to respectful and helpful interactions.
  • While prior data‑entry experience is a plus, it is not a prerequisite; enthusiasm to learn is the most important factor.
