As a Ticket & Gate Agent (Customer Service Agent) at arenaflex, you are the face of the brand. Your professionalism, positive attitude, and adherence to uniform standards reinforce the trust passengers place in arenaflex every time they step onto a terminal.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

Ticket Agent Duties

  • Warmly greet passengers, offering guidance and assistance throughout the ticketing and baggage check‑in process.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s advanced reservation system to sell, print, reissue, and modify tickets with precision.
  • Verify travel documentation, ensuring each passenger meets all regulatory and arenaflex‑specific requirements.
  • Tag, weigh, and safely transfer baggage from scales to conveyor belts, handling items from floor level to waist height.
  • Assist unaccompanied minors and passengers with disabilities, providing escort services and personalized support.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and consistently practice safety‑conscious behaviors in all operational tasks.

Gate Agent Duties

  • Operate arenaflex’s gate‑side computer systems to check seat availability, process upgrades, and manage boarding priorities.
  • Make clear, courteous announcements regarding boarding procedures, flight status, and any operational changes.
  • Coordinate the boarding process, including scanning boarding passes, verifying IDs, and ensuring a smooth flow of passengers onto the aircraft.
  • Control jetways, positioning them correctly before aircraft arrival, and safely open, close, and secure aircraft doors.
  • Collaborate with flight crews, ground staff, and security teams to resolve any issues that arise during gate operations.
  • Continuously apply safety‑first practices, adhering to arenaflex’s rigorous operational standards.

Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements (Essential)

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills and proper grammar, tone, and pronunciation.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with reservation and ticketing software.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive Customer Service Assessment.
  • Physical capability to frequently lift items up to 50 lb and occasionally lift items between 50 lb and 70 lb.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Commitment to safety and security for yourself, teammates, and passengers at all times.

  • Previous experience in airport customer service, ticketing, or gate operations.
  • Additional language proficiency beyond English and Spanish.
