[Remote] Industrial Engineer | Network Optimization

OnTrac is a leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. They are seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead network design and optimization initiatives, analyze performance, and enhance efficiency. The role involves collaboration with various departments to implement solutions that support scalable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end network design and optimization: Own projects from modeling and scenario analysis through implementation
• Develop and maintain optimization models: Build, calibrate, and improve decision‑support models for network performance
• Turn data into improvement: Analyze large datasets to identify inefficiencies and drive actionable, continuous improvements in cost, service levels, and capacity utilization
• Run multiple programs to plan: Ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met across concurrent initiatives
• Advance tools and communicate with clarity: Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and methodologies for network optimization, and present insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior and executive leaders
• Measure what matters: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor network health and efficiency

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in a related field
• Ability to travel up to 20%
