[Remote] Accounting and Financial Analyst

They are seeking an Accounting and Financial Analyst responsible for analyzing and processing accounting transactions, supporting financial statement preparation, and coordinating with auditors during audits.
Responsibilities
- Record journal entries, perform monthly reconciliations, and support month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting; execute internal controls to mitigate risk
- Compile, analyze, and communicate financial results for management and regulatory reporting; maintain effective reporting controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive automation; support projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis
- Coordinate annual audits by managing auditor requests and gathering required documentation; act as primary liaison between auditors and finance
- Research and implement accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Statutory Accounting Principles); document conclusions and serve as a technical accounting resource
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of experience in financial results preparation and analysis, or equivalent education/experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Research and implement accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Statutory Accounting Principles); document conclusions and serve as a technical accounting resource

- Professional certification preferred (CPA, CMA, or MBA)
