Position Overview – Remote Data Entry Specialist (Call Center Representative)

arenaflex is seeking motivated, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Remote Call Center team as Data Entry Specialists. In this role, you will be the frontline liaison between patients, prescribers, and our pharmacy operations, ensuring that medication orders, enrollment information, and patient inquiries are accurately captured and processed in compliance with HIPAA regulations. This full‑time, work‑from‑home position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25‑$35 and a supportive environment that encourages professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Enter patient enrollment, prescription, and medication data into arenaflex’s proprietary pharmacy system with a focus on precision and speed.
  • HIPAA‑Compliant Communication: Handle inbound calls, messages, and outbound communications with patients, prescribers, and guarantors while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Order Verification & Processing: Review and process “top‑off” refill orders, resolve missing information, and interpret prescription abbreviations (SIG codes) to ensure correct fulfillment.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies or “outside oddities” by gathering additional information, making necessary adjustments, and resubmitting records as required.
  • Collaboration with Pharmacy Teams: Provide timely assistance to pharmacy staff both on‑site and remotely, escalating complex issues to senior personnel when needed.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Follow state and federal guidelines for patient enrollment, medication dispensing, and data security.
  • Continuous Learning: Obtain a dynamic specialist certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active certification throughout employment.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency – ability to start/shut down a PC, use a mouse, navigate between applications, save and print documents, and access online resources.
  • Fundamental web navigation skills – entering URLs, using search engines, bookmarking pages, and moving through web pages with back/forward controls.
  • Intermediate typing ability – minimum 25 words per minute (WPM) with reasonable accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, preferably in a call‑center setting.
  • Experience with state‑licensed pharmacy enrollment processes or a certification from a State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality customer service to both inbound and outbound callers, meeting service level agreements and quality standards.
  • Advanced typing proficiency – 35 WPM or higher, with the ability to type from memory and format documents efficiently.
  • Bilingual capability – fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
