[Remote] Professional Liability & Healthcare Underwriter

They are seeking an experienced Professional Liability Territory & Healthcare Underwriter to build a profitable portfolio and enhance relationships with wholesale brokers while delivering efficient underwriting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow PL business across the East Coast, with a focus on Healthcare, Allied Health, MPL, and Excess
• Act as a territory leader, driving submission flow and conversion
• Build and deepen relationships with wholesale trading partners (phone, virtual, and in-person)
• Underwrite with discipline, creativity, and speed
• Help shape appetite, pricing, and portfolio strategy as we scale

Skills

• 5+ years Professional Liability underwriting experience
• E&S PL background required
• Established wholesale broker relationships
• Strong grasp of pricing, risk selection, and portfolio management
• Comfort making decisions in a fast-moving environment
• An entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build something meaningful
• Willingness to travel for broker meetings and industry events
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available
• Allied Healthcare expertise strongly preferred
