[Remote] Engagement Lead/Solution Consultant (Salesforce)

The Solution Consultant will act as a strategic link between clients' business objectives and technical delivery, managing the full engagement lifecycle from pre-sales to implementation and optimization of Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and deliver comprehensive Salesforce implementation projects within committed timelines and budget
  • Build strong, enduring relationships with customers and excel in executive stakeholder management
  • Proactively mine accounts to identify new opportunities and build a future project pipeline with the customer
  • Translate complex business requirements into innovative, scalable, and effective Salesforce solutions that align with industry best practices
  • Drive pre-sales activities by crafting compelling, practical implementation proposals that encompass project scope, high-level solutions, and accurate estimates
  • Ensure Strong Delivery Outcomes for North America Customers
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of Salesforce projects
  • Plan and lead comprehensive discovery workshops to uncover client needs, gather requirements, and document business processes
  • Own project requirements, providing clear direction and clarification to client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure the right features are built
  • Consult clients on Salesforce platform capabilities, effectively mapping them to specific business requirements
  • Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration with backend/ERP systems and providing functional guidance on the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Own day-to-day delivery tracking, manage scope changes, identify project risks early, and coordinate cross-functional India based offshore teams to ensure high-quality execution
  • Lead regular project meetings, including weekly client status calls, internal stand ups, and working sessions based on Agile delivery processes
  • Keep client stakeholders and internal management consistently updated on project progress, risks, and milestones
  • Empower internal team members (Business Analysts, Developers, Technical Leads, and QA) to deliver their tasks with high quality and in a timely manner
  • Coach and groom Business Analysts, developing their skills to transition into consultant roles
  • Drive effective collaboration between onshore client-facing teams and offshore delivery teams, including structured knowledge transfer, backlog readiness, and dependency management

Skills

  • 8+ years of hands-on consulting experience on the Salesforce platform, supported by a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least three of the following clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, or Field Service. This must be validated by active certifications and direct project execution experience
  • Familiarity with Data Cloud and Agentforce, coupled with an AI-first mindset to evaluate and recommend emerging Salesforce technologies
  • A strong inclination to seamlessly incorporate AI into the flow of work to drive productivity gains and operational efficiency
  • Highly comfortable managing and executing multiple client projects in parallel
  • Experience standing up and working collaboratively with offshore team in India to support onshore-offshore model
  • Exceptional solutioning skills with the ability to map complex business requirements to standard Salesforce features, creating innovative and effective recommendations
  • Skilled in structural thinking with outstanding problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities. Naturally curious, detail-oriented, and driven to establish a deep understanding of the subject matter
  • Proven pre-sales experience, specifically in building implementation proposals, defining solutions, and estimating effort for diverse opportunities
  • Possesses the ability to distill complex problem statements and technical concepts into simple, easily digestible explanations for non-technical audiences
