[Remote] Social Media Content Creator (Volunteer/Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Abuse Refuge Org. (ARO) is a nonprofit organization focused on helping victims of various forms of abuse. They are seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to design engaging graphics, write compelling copy, and assist with social media management to further their mission.
Responsibilities
- Design visually engaging social media graphics and images aligned with brand identity
- Write compelling, on-brand copy to accompany posts and drive audience engagement
- Assist with Social Media posts and help with increasing our social media following
- Utilize Asana to review tasks and Slack to respond to messages
- Explore trends relating to Social Media pages and introduce them as needed
- Attend the monthly company meeting
- Perform other appropriate tasks or duties as requested
Skills
- Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
- Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Possess a collaborative way of working
- Behave professionally in manner and appearance
- Be consistently organized and flexible
- A team player with demonstrated experience working well with others
- Ability to anticipate and critically think through problems
- This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred)
