Solar Project Support Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Solar Project Support Coordinator to support the successful transition of residential solar projects from the Sales team to Operations. This role is highly administrative and operations-focused, ensuring project data accuracy, tracking work orders, coordinating customer communications, and supporting the overall project workflow. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and preferably some knowledge of solar design concepts and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales and Operations teams to ensure a smooth project handoff.
  • Review and maintain project records, ensuring all customer and project data is accurate and complete.
  • Track and manage work orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contact customers after contract signing to verify information, answer questions, and provide project updates as needed.
  • Coordinate documentation and ensure all required forms, approvals, and project details are properly collected and filed.
  • Monitor project milestones and follow up with internal teams to prevent delays.
  • Maintain accurate records within company systems and databases.
  • Support Operations by identifying missing information, discrepancies, or documentation issues before projects move forward.
  • Assist with customer approvals and project-related administrative tasks.
  • Generate reports and provide project status updates to management as requested.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience during the transition from Sales to Operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, project coordination, operations support, or customer service role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM/project management systems.
  • English level: Advance

Preferred

  • Experience in the solar, renewable energy, construction, or home improvement industry.
  • Understanding of residential solar project workflows.
  • Familiarity with solar design concepts, permitting, or project documentation.
  • Experience coordinating customer communications and project tracking.
