Remote Senior Educational Consultant - Curriculum Design

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of comprehensive educational curricula, including learning objectives, content, activities, and assessments. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and stakeholders to ensure curriculum quality and relevance. Apply principles of adult learning and child development to create effective and engaging learning experiences across different modalities. Research and recommend educational technologies and tools to enhance curriculum delivery and student engagement. Develop training materials and resources for educators and facilitators implementing the curriculum. Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for curriculum improvement. Ensure all curricula align with relevant educational standards, policies, and best practices. Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets. Provide expert consultation on pedagogical approaches and instructional strategies.
Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in educational leadership, curriculum design, or instructional development. Demonstrated expertise in various learning theories and instructional methodologies. Proven experience developing curricula for K-12, higher education, or professional development. Strong understanding of educational technology and online learning platforms. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting. Experience in remote work environments and proficiency with virtual collaboration tools is essential.
