We are hiring for Amazon Connect Voice Engineer with Java and voice/telephony background (IVR, call routing) with my direct client at Remote locations for 6+ Months of contract. Please find the job description below and let me know your level of interest. Job Title: Amazon Connect Voice Engineer (Java) Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months of contract Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Amazon Connect for contact center operations
- Configure and manage voice workflows, call routing, IVR systems, and integrations
- Develop and maintain backend services and integrations using Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable voice solutions
- Integrate Amazon Connect with external systems (CRM, APIs, databases)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice infrastructure and contact center operations
- Optimize system performance, call flows, and customer experience
- Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of voice systems
- Support deployment, testing, and production releases
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Amazon Connect (contact flows, routing, integrations)
- Solid understanding of voice engineering concepts (IVR, SIP, telephony systems, call routing)
- Proficiency in Java development (Spring Boot or similar frameworks preferred)
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience integrating voice platforms with CRM or third-party systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
