Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex claims and draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and coverage position letters.
• Prosecute and defend declaratory judgment actions, bad faith litigation, and reinsurance disputes.
• Handle subrogation recoveries and coverage allocation in high-value property, marine, and catastrophic losses.
• Advise clients on policy interpretation, endorsements, and regulatory compliance issues.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission (NY preferred; multi-jurisdictional a plus).
• 3–8+ years of insurance coverage or related litigation experience with strong writing and analytical skills.
