Senior Creative Director, Social & Content
Description:
- Lead creative across multiple social and content workstreams to ensure output is distinctive, culturally relevant, and aligned with Airbnb’s brand vision.
- Develop and guide content formats, series, and repeatable franchises rather than relying on one-off campaigns.
- Concept and shape storytelling while setting a clear creative vision for teams and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external creators, and production partners to bring ideas to life at scale.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Brand, Marketing, Comms, Insights, and Product teams.
- Partner with Creative Operations and Production to scale output efficiently without compromising quality.
- Mentor and grow a team of multidisciplinary creatives while fostering curiosity, craft, and experimentation.
- Translate strategy, insights, and data into creative work that drives conversation, sharing, and earned attention.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of creative leadership experience across social, content, and brand storytelling.
- Proven success developing YouTube-first or video-led content, including series, channels, or recurring formats that build and retain audiences.
- Experience working where editorial, entertainment, and brand intersect.
- Strong understanding of platform mechanics, especially on YouTube and TikTok.
- Experience collaborating with creators, influencers, and talent in co-creating content.
- Experience leading both internal teams and external partners, including agencies and production companies.
- Strong storytelling instincts with a high bar for craft across video, design, and narrative.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A deep curiosity about culture, media, and how audiences engage with content today.
- US remote eligibility with residence in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity, and occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsite may be required.
Benefits:
- Base salary range of $208,000 to $260,000 USD.
- May be eligible for bonus.
