Principal UX Designer

A leading financial services company is hiring a Principal UX Designer to support their innovative technology team. This temporary position is based in Merrimack, NH, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level digital product design. *Hybrid model featuring: 1 week in office (Merrimack, New Hampshire) / 1 week remote* *This is a W2 Contract role* *Houly rate: $80-86/hr* *Principal UX Designer Responsibilities:* * Lead the development of user interfaces that enhance usability, accessibility, and visual appeal across various platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define design strategies and solutions.
• Create detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate interaction concepts effectively.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles, incorporating research insights and performance data to improve existing features.
• Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and assets to streamline UI development processes.

*Principal UX Designer Qualifications:* * Minimum of 8 years of professional UX or related design experience.

• A degree in fields such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors is preferred.
• Experience in Asset Management or investment application design is ideal.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic design initiatives and work collaboratively across teams.
• Strong skills in information architecture, prototyping, user research, and visual design, with effective communication and storytelling abilities.
