Remote Lead UX Designer

Our client is seeking a talented and visionary Remote Lead UX Designer to shape the user experience of our digital products. This fully remote role offers the unique opportunity to lead design initiatives and mentor a team of designers from anywhere. You will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and effective user interfaces and experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX design skills, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and a proven ability to lead design projects from concept to launch. You will conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design excellence. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to advocate for the user while balancing business objectives. You will also play a key role in establishing design standards, processes, and best practices within the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of design innovation and ensuring our products deliver outstanding user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design strategy and execution for user experiences across multiple products. Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Translate complex user needs into simple and intuitive designs. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define features and requirements. Champion user-centered design principles and best practices. Mentor and guide junior UX/UI designers. Establish and maintain design systems and style guides. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design. Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring designers. Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX/UI design work. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing. Excellent understanding of interaction design principles and best practices.
