Senior Windows Systems Administrator - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator for a hybrid position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Pay Rate: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour This role is responsible for the operational support of Windows Server, VMware virtualization, and enterprise data protection platforms, with primary ownership of backup and recovery services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows and virtualization, valuing operational reliability and data protection integrity within a structured enterprise environment. Responsibilities:

• Support Windows Server platforms and VMware vSphere environments
• Own enterprise backup operations using Veeam and IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM)
• Monitor infrastructure health, alerts, and backup job success
• Execute restores, testing, and operational issue resolution
• Perform troubleshooting and configuration of virtualized environments

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Windows Systems Administrator
• Proven expertise with VMware, including troubleshooting and configuration
• Experience with enterprise backup operations and data protection platforms
• Experience migrating systems from on-premise to cloud environments
• Virtual desktop experience
