The Role

We're seeking a dedicated and empathetic Telechat or Phone Chat Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team. As a remote full-time position, this role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to provide top-notch assistance to customers through chat or phone interactions in English. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in addressing their inquiries, solving problems, and delivering a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and chat channels, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate information.

  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and concerns in an effective and empathetic manner, using active listening skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Provide detailed information about products, services, or accounts to assist customers effectively, staying up-to-date on product and service knowledge.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records for future reference, using our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to ensure customer satisfaction, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve customer service processes.
  • Identify areas of improvement in customer service processes and recommend solutions, using data and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
  • Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling various customer queries, ensuring consistency and accuracy in customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on product and service knowledge to offer detailed support, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proven experience in customer service or support, preferably in a chat or phone-based role, with a strong track record of resolving customer issues and complaints.
  • Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection and a quiet workspace, using a headset and other necessary equipment to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Empathetic and patient with customers at all times, using active listening skills and emotional intelligence to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to quickly navigate various software systems, including our CRM system and other customer service tools.
  • Flexible to work in different shifts, depending on operational requirements, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
