[Remote] Financial Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Saatva is the pioneer of luxury, eco-responsible mattresses and bedding. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Finance team, responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow modeling, and reporting to support their eCommerce and retail expansion.

Responsibilities

• Execute core F P&A duties, including the development and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling monthly forecasts
• Perform detailed cash flow modeling to support liquidity management and retail expansion planning
• Build and stress-test financial models to support valuation and long-term corporate planning
• Consolidate financial data and prepare monthly reporting packages that highlight KPIs and variance analysis
• Create ad-hoc reports and interactive dashboards to monitor eCommerce and store performance
• Synthesize complex financial concepts into clean, 'board-ready' PowerPoint decks for senior leadership

Skills

• At least 1 years of experience in a quantitatively heavy role ideally in a complex business, e.g., multiple revenue streams
• Excel Mastery: You are a power user. We expect total comfort with V/H Look-ups, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, nested IF statements, and Data Validation
• Required: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Education: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• A strong foundational understanding of GAAP and 3-statement financial integration
• You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, possesses a strong sense of urgency, has strong influencing skills and can communicate financial 'why' to non-financial partners
• Experience with PowerPoint, Sage Intacct (ERP) and Tableau (Data Viz)
• ECommerce, Store retail, Consumer Goods, etc. are a plus
